Marvel is gearing up to release the highly anticipated debut teaser trailer for Black Panther tonight, and to whet the appetites of fans everywhere, they've unmasked the first poster for the film, and it's just as regal and powerful as one would expect.

The poster shows the film's title character, played by Chadwick Boseman, comfortably perched on his iron throne in Wakanda.

You can feel the intensity emanating from the photo. Take a look below:

In addition to Boseman, who made his debut as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, the film features a host of immaculate talent, largely consisting of Black actors.

Some of those featured in the film include Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger), Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaue), Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Sterling K. Brown and more.

The film is also being directed by Fruitvale Station and Creed creator Ryan Coogler.

While the poster serves as the first taste fans will get of the highly anticipated superhero film, there will be more to celebrate later today as the first trailer will air during Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Black Panther premieres in theaters on February 16, 2018.
