Twitter Blasts Steve Harvey for Allegedly Making Jokes About the Flint Water Crisis

If this is true, it was in very poor taste.

Steve Harvey is in hot water once again after the comedian allegedly took a joke way too far during a discussion about the 2017 NBA Finals on his radio show. Harvey reportedly took shots at a resident of Flint, Michigan, leaving many listeners (and even more folks on social media) with a bad taste in their mouths.

The offensive joke has even caused many on Twitter to reignite the Steve Harvey boycott.

According to one listener of The Steve Harvey Morning Show, the comedian got into a bit of an awkward conversation with one caller after he claimed LeBron James deserved to lose the series against the Golden State Warriors. Harvey allegedly said, "You from Flint? That's why y'all ain't even got clean water. When was the last time you touched water and it didn't have lead in it?"

The listener admitted she was shocked as Harvey expanded on the ill-advised joke, but he didn't stop there, adding, "Go have yourself a nice glass of brown water!" After that the listener claimed Harvey's co-host told him to apologize, to which Harvey said he had nothing to say sorry for.

Understandably, critics have taken to Twitter to slam Harvey.
