Between her brother Rob's meltdown, Khloé's high-profile relationship and Kendall and Kylie's retail mishaps, Kim Kardashian has been the most low-key member of the KarJenner clan lately. But the original star of the family managed to grab some headlines yesterday when a video surfaced of her with what appeared to be a pile of cocaine in the background.
It all started when Kim posted a snap from her New York City hotel room, and two small piles of white powder were spotted on a marble countertop in the background. Twitter, predictably, went nuts assuming that Kim was getting into some recreational activities on the low:
Soon after, Kim took to social media to insist the white stuff was just Pixie Stix dust left behind by her daughter, North West. A totally believable story, especially given Kim's reputation for keeping it straight edge when it comes to drugs and alcohol, but the internet still was giving side eye.
Later, Kim came back to Snapchat (really, do we care this much about it?) after having a revelation that the white spot was neither cocaine nor Pixie Stix, but rather just a natural streak of white in the black marble:
"Look at this table, same position it is still there!" she says in the video. "I did think it was our Pixie Stix, but after all that, this table in the background is a marble table you guys! Like, come on."
"So come on, I don't play like that," she said. "I have kids, that is not my lifestyle."
