If there were ever a Black remake of Mommie Dearest (the horrifying story of mother and Hollywood star Joan Crawford and her daughter Christina Crawford), the story would be based on Jackie Christie and Ta’Kari. It could be called Mama Dearest and let Tami Roman be the director — that's a box office hit!
The mother and daughter war continues.
During an interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, Jackie Christie claimed that the $19K Ta'Kari received from her GoFundMe page — the one Evelyn Lozada donated to, which pissed Jackie off — ended up in the hands of "terrible influences." She also claimed her boyfriend spent the coins on drugs and shoes.
Take a look at her full interview below:
With a quickness, Ta'Kari called into The Breakfast Club saying her mother is telling lies and duck tales. She said, “The GoFundMe I couldn’t do anything, I was in the hospital with my 8-month-old baby. I didn’t do anything, it was concerned family [who did it], they made the GoFundMe. We didn’t have no time for no extra drama." Concerning her boyfriend spending the money on drugs and sneakers, she said, "I’ve been with the same person for 11 years, nobody did anything to the money especially not buying drugs and sneakers.”
Well, there you have it. Maybe they should both stop talking about their relationship in the media. That might solve everything!
