#GirlBye: Twitter Roasts Amy Schumer For Demanding Netflix Pay Her The Same As Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle

She thinks she deserves as much as the comedy icons.

Amy Schumer believes her comedy chops are worthy of big bucks — we're talking comedy icon money, here.

A new report by Variety stated that the comedienne/actress, 36, renegotiated her Netflix special salary after learning how much comedy legends Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle were paid for theirs. The relatively new, but celebrated, face in comedy claims she deserves pay equal to the two figures who came before her.

According to the publication, both Chappelle and Rock were paid $20 million for their routines while Schumer was paid $11 million for her The Leather Special taping. Turns out, the squeaky wheel gets greased: Schumer was reportedly successful with her demand after going back to the streaming service and requesting more money.

Schumer's special was taped when her popularity was at an all-time high due to her Emmy win for Inside Amy Schumer and the success of her debut film, Trainwreck, in 2015. Still, it was resoundingly panned by both critics and fans.

By contrast, both Rock and Chappelle have been comedy icons for more than 25 years, and have more than paid their dues and earned their hefty salaries.

Social media felt strongly about Schumer's seemingly premature request for "equal" pay. Take a look, below:
