Kim Kardashian and her family are stepping up to help Houston. Not by sending a Tweet or posting a photo, they are giving up the cash and lots of it. 

According to TMZ, Kim, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner gave $250,000 each to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Reportedly, nine people have died due to Hurricane Harvey and countless others have lost their homes. 
For the Kardashians, they have minor roots in Texas. Their reality show franchise once hit the Lone Star State. Back in 2011, Khloé & Lamar premiered on E!, which followed Khloé and her then-husband, Lamar, as they moved to Texas for his basketball career. Khloé once said she was harassed in Texas for marrying a Black man. Nonetheless, it is good to see the Kardashian clan step up!
