50 Cent Shades STARZ Over Power's Success

Does he have a point?

Published September 3, 2017

Just hours before the Season 4 finale of Power, 50 Cent, a producer for the show, decided to send out a message to fans of the program requesting some respect on his name.

Apparently, Fif isn’t too happy with Starz, which hosts the show. "I don't think the Starz network realize your watching POWER because it's my show,” he captioned under a banner for the show on Instagram. “So take STARZ out of your cable package after you see POWER tonight. Then they will understand I bet. #50centralbet"

This isn’t the first time there’s been tension between him and the network, either. Power is STARZ’ highest rated program, so to say he’s in-part responsible for the premium cable channel’s competitive viability would be truthful.

Previously, 50 threatened to take Power to a different network multiple times and caused controversy by publicly stating that Starz accused him of leaking the show.

Anyway, the last episode of Power did make it out there tonight at 9 p.m. EST. Whether you follow 50’s advice afterward is up to you.
