Some of your favorite hip hop and reality stars are coming together for a new project that is sure to be a shocker for many.
According to theJasmineBRAND.com, Ray J, K. Michelle, Jamal Woolard, Boosie Badazz, Lyfe Jennings and Karlie Redd are all set to star in a hip hop musical called Thugs and the Women Who Love 'Em.
The project is inspired by the 2005 book Thugs and the Women Who Love Them written by New York Times bestselling author Wahida Clark.
The musical is set to be produced by known theater producer Melvin Childs of Produced by Faith and will be directed by Zadia Ife. As for the music featured in the production, it will all come from the participating artists' respective catalogs.
The site reports that Thugs and the Women Who Love 'Em will follow four different perspectives from four women "who've built a sisterhood through some very difficult times. Now, one by one, each of them will be asked to choose between the men they love and the life they want."
