While Black folks were making history at last night's Emmy, Kylie Jenner aired the season finale of her reality show Life of Kylie. She seemed to kind-of-sort-of make some type of revelation.
Kylie's BFF Jordyn Woods said she wanted to distance herself to focus on her career. However, before they went their separate ways they did a commitment ceremony in Peru. The even exchanged vows in front of Kylie's mother, Kris.
Kylie told People.com about Jordyn, "She’s my girlfriend. I care for her like I care for my girlfriend." See the commitment ceremony (or just call it a publicity ceremony) below:
Who knows what this means about Kylie's sexuality. More than likely, this is just for press and plotline for her reality show. Sadly, she probably doesn't know the history of commitment ceremonies and how once upon a time these were the only ceremonies LGBT could have.
Back to the real news of the day, Black folks winning at the Emmys. For more on the history of Black folks and awards shows, check out the BET Breaks video, above.
