Megyn Kelly recently filmed her first major interview as the new face of Today with the Kardashian clan as her subjects. However, the youngest of the famous group, Kylie Jenner, was noticeably absent, and recent reports state she backed out mere minutes before the camera started rolling.
According to the Daily Mail, the NBC host was joined by all of Kylie's sisters — Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Kendall — and their mother Kris.
Kylie's absence came as a shocker for the host and the producers of the segment as she was pictures with her siblings on that same day at the studio and even posted a video of herself on set to Snapchat.
"She was supposed to be there, but didn't show up at the last minute," a source said, before adding that she was present on-set filming an interview for E!, earlier.
A rep for the 20-year-old has not responded to a request for comment. It might have had something to do with Kelly's visible disdain for Kylie. During the interview, her sisters were left to jump to her defense when Kelly asked, repeatedly, what exactly Kylie does for a living.
"My little sister has an insane business and anyone who says they don't want their kid to be like that, and have an insane business at 19, and literally be so successful is insane to me," Kendall started before Kris chimed in later.
"The girls have hundreds of millions of followers," she said. "Hundreds of millions. And like Kylie, for example, she employs five or 600 people."
Was it shade, or nah?
