Watch: NeNe Leakes Breaks Down In Tears Over Backlash From Her Rape Comments

Her words also reportedly cost her a major gig.

NeNe Leakes recently caused a stir when she made an example of a heckler at one of her comedy gigs by oddly telling her she hopes she gets raped by her Uber driver.

After the clip went viral, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star was dragged across social media for wishing something so heinous on another woman. Now, NeNe has streamed a conversation she had with her makeup artist on Instagram Live, emotionally discussing the moment.

"They don't care. All they care about is what I said," she tearfully said while explaining that the heckler reportedly told her to "kill herself." "At the end of the day, I never want to cause harm to anybody else. Not in that kind of way. Everybody who knows me knows that I would never want that to happen."

"This tour is for and about our fans and we want to provide an entertaining and enjoyable experience for every single person who attends," it read.

The Twitter community, many of who were massive fans of the reality starlet, also expressed their disappointment in her after learning of her hurtful words:
