Last night (October 27), the Migos rapper proposed to the “Bodak Yellow” emcee on stage in Philadelphia. Afterward, Cardi was pretty emotional and on Instagram, thanked Offset for believing in her.

“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, @offsetyrn I loveee you so much,” she captioned under a pic of her showing off her new ring. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me .For giving me advice molding me and loving me .Your such a amazing man to me your family ,friends ,kids and you are extremely talented.I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you .Lets make a lot shmoney and love together.”
Social media also gave their two cents. Some saw the engagement coming. “And, we've finally reached the 'happily ever after' point to the story, Cardi B and Offset: A hood fairytale,” someone tweeted. While others had questions after the couple went through a short breakup just days ago. “didn’t cardi b & offset just break up over a damn blanket about 2 days ago? And now their engaged?” another person wrote.
