Wendy Williams wants you to know that she's returning to her purple chair following her hiatus on March 19, and she's doing so in a pretty unusual way.

Taking to Instagram, the talk show host posted an iMovie masterpiece completed with music, head-scratching dance moves and equally confusing hashtags.

After taking some time off from her show to take care of her health, Williams is gearing up to make her grand return. Before she does so, she posted what appeared to be a teaser "music video" to build up the anticipation.

Starting out with the text "Somewhere in New Jersey..." the clip opens with a car pulling out of a driveway before the camera made its way up to a gyrating Williams, posted up on the trunk, covered with a black fur.

The awkwardness didn't even begin to settle in yet as the clip went on to show more "dancing," head nods, lip sync fails and more.

She captioned the video, "Wendy's back March 19... #HipHop #Brooklyn #Rise&Fire #Legend."

Take a look, below:

  1. Social media found the clip extremely amusing with several taking to Twitter to share how they felt about it:

  2. All jokes aside, it's great to see Williams back on her feet again.
