Cardi B has been receiving tons of praise from cemented icons in Hollywood and music, with the latest to put his stamp of approval on her talent being Oscar winner Denzel Washington.

In fact, to prove that he's a loyal supporter, the beloved actor spat a few of the femcee's lyrics and it is sure to warm your heart.

During his press rounds for Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, Washington stopped to speak with the folks at The Root and dished about his admiration for one particular Cardi B song.

When asked if he listens to the newfound chart topper, he wasted no time in pointing out that he loves her breakout smash, "Bodak Yellow."

"I can't even say what she said," he said with a smile. "'He buy me Yves Saint Laurent and a new whip.' You think I don't know. I be watching!"

On a more serious note, he left some advice for the new artist: "Don't believe the hype. Stay true to yourself. Keep it real, for real."
