Beyoncé's aura not only leaves mortal admirers in awe, but apparently even Marvel superheroes.
Action star Anthony Mackie, who has starred in several Marvel Universe films, recently shared a story of how he and the Queen Bey connected in a way that, according to him, she doesn't usually achieve with other fans.
During a recent stop at The Late Late Show With James Corden, Mackie was asked if he ever met the superstar, and the story that followed was equal parts hilarious and intriguing.
"I've seen Beyoncé several times," he said. "So, once, I saw Beyoncé at Madison Square Garden, and around the stage she has this thing called the Beyhive, and I got Beyhive tickets."
Mackie explained that things began to slow down once the two made eye contact and she started serenading him with her hit ballad, "Halo."
"Beyoncé's coming down the stairs, she's singing 'Halo'... And she looks at me and she goes, 'Halooo,' and I'm like, 'oo-ooh," he hilariously explained. "And she reaches her hand out and I hold her hand. And she looks at me and she sings like eight words, but it felt like 18 bars."
While 'Yoncé routinely did this during some of her past tours with her fans as her show was about to end, Mackie was convinced that the two shared a genuine moment of mutual attraction.
"She was definitely holding my hand because she thought I was cute," he said.
A lucky man, indeed.
