From pretty much ever since the psychological horror film Get Out was released, Kanye West's marriage to Kim Kardashian was likened to its plot, with many claiming the rapper has been in the "sunken place," in reference to the movie.
Now that significant time has passed, the comparison has only intensified, more so to the point where 'Ye himself has included it in one of his recent off-the-rocker tweets. On the bright side, Get Out's creator, Jordan Peele, is using Kanye's tweet as inspiration.
The idea was first introduced when the "Good Life" rapper posted the following tweets of his eerily minimalistic home, with one of them captioned, "Do this look like the sunken place?"
Take a look, below:
While the "sunken place" can best be described as a state of mind as opposed to a physical space, if it were to be the manifested into the latter, chances are it may actually look like that.
In fact, Peele apparently doesn't think this sentiment is too far fetched as he tweeted that 'Ye's "unseasoned" decor has inspired him to get started on Get Out 2.
If that wasn't hilarious enough, social media has begun trolling Kanye even more following his self-deprecating question, with genius users even creating memes using scenes from the film, but substituting the characters' faces with Kanye's.
