WTF, Wendy?! Twitter Goes Off On Wendy Williams For Hurling Racial Slur At An Audience Member
Wendy Williams strikes again with her ignorant on-air comments. However, this time, instead of directing them towards other celebrities, her choice of target is one of her trusty audience members, or, as she likes to call them, her "co-hosts."
During the "Hot Topics" segment of a recent episode of her eponymous morning talk show, Williams, while discussing the apparently scandalous life of Shania Twain, hurled a nasty slur at one of her onlooking audience members.
It all started when she asked her studio audience, "And what do you think Shania does?" When a Black woman in the audience used her hands to motion a punching action, Williams addressed her, all while ignorantly calling her "Blackie."
"See, come on now. Don't stereotype us, Blackie," she said. "Don't do that. You're too beautiful for that."
The camera then panned to the woman who appeared visibly humiliated.

While Williams, herself, either seems to be unaware or unbothered by her actions, Twitter wasted no time in reminding her that what she did was clearly out of line.
