Fresh off of their Emmy win, the ladies of morning talk show The Real are already being plagued by rumors that one of them will be getting the ax and will be replaced by a white woman.
Now, after the claim has made its rounds, the co-host in question is taking the time to address the chatter herself.
The panelist who was rumored to be fired from the award-winning talk show is the funny lady of the group, Loni Love.
In a recent episode of the show, Love directly addressed the rumors and stressed that they're completely false.
"You know, I'm just glad security let me back in this morning, because I'm not sure if you heard or not, a gossip blog site started a rumor over the weekend that I was getting fired and replaced by a white girl!" she said on Monday morning. "Look at that! Why did they have to use that picture?"
She went on to question what possible "white girl" could replace her on the diverse panel before adding that the rumors were just that — completely fabricated tabloid junk.
"I didn't know it was coming, you know, and I ended up reposting that, because I think it's funny," she continued. "I mean, I knew it wasn't true. So I said, 'What white girl could replace me?' Like, Chelsea Handler, Stacey Dash, Rachel Dolezal?... It's totally not true, you guys."
