While Matt Barnes and his ex-wife Gloria Govan are headed back to court to battle over money and custody, the former reality star has tossed another element into their legal battle.

According to The Blast, Govan has revealed in the court documents that the former NBA star allegedly assaulted her in front of their children. She is reportedly using this claim to gain leverage in their legal battle.

Claiming that Barnes is a danger to their children, Govan included a deposition from August 2017 where, under oath, she explained that he slapped her with the back of his hand while they were driving, back in 2014. She said the children were sitting in the back seat. She also mentioned an alleged incident where a fight broke out between Barnes and her fiancé, Derek Fisher, which resulted in him spitting on and trying to shove her.

The documents further explain that the ex-Basketball Wives star also wants Barnes held in contempt for violating their custody order after he allegedly flew their two children to Oakland on several occasions without her giving the OK.

Elsewhere in the docs, she claimed Barnes hawked her nine-carat engagement ring and wedding band so he could buy himself and their children diamond necklaces. She is asking the court to force him to cough up the monetary equivalent to the jewelry.

She made several other claims attacking Barnes' character including him being a pothead.

The battle between these two seeme never-ending, at the moment.
