Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Were Spotted Trying Not To Hold Hands, And Twitter Is Swooning

The two had a fair reason for their restraint.

Royal newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making their rounds as Duke and Duchess over the past few weeks. Most recently, they were spotted accompanying the queen at the Young Leaders Reception at Buckingham Palace.

While there, the two had an adorable royal faux pas that didn't go unnoticed by the internet.

While the two walked behind the queen at the event, Markle subtly reached to hold her husband's hand, and Prince Harry seemed to motion to return the gesture.

However, he quickly caught her before their hands touched, grabbing his other hand, instead, making for an awkward yet hilarious moment.

Apparently, it is considered inappropriate for royals to show public displays of affection while out in public with the queen.
