Damon Wayans Jr. is reportedly giving notice to his baby’s mother that he wants full custody of their kids.

According to The Blast, the “Happy Together” star claims Aja Metoyer isn’t taking their daughter’s education seriously and questions how she spends the money he provides her in child support. The former Basketball Wives star also receives money from recently-retired NBA player Dwyane Wade.

On Friday (September 21), Wayans filed documents in Los Angeles requesting to change the current orders with Metoyer. They have two daughters, ages 13 and 15. Until now, Metoyer had primary physical custody of the girls and both girls were under joint legal custody.

Wayans now says he wants primary custody of the girls during the week, claiming they are “suffering scholastically” because of their mom’s “inability to prioritize their education.” Wayans also claims his daughters are “habitually absent” or tardy to class, among other educational issues.

According to a court order sent to Metoyer, she is required to attend a child custody mediation with Wayans on October 31 to discuss the actor’s request. We’ll keep you updated on this story.
