Amy Schumer is the latest celebrity to distance themselves from the NFL and the 2019 Super Bowl.

The comedian took to social media with words for her fellow wypipo and their refusal to use their privilege for good.

  1. Schumer got the party started with a controversial Instagram post.

"Friday thought. I wonder why more white players aren't kneeling. Once you witness the truly deep inequality and endless racism people of color face in our country, not to mention the police brutality and murders. Why not kneel next to your brothers. Otherhow are you not complicit," she wrote.

  2. She provided a hot take of how she planned to use her white privilege against the on-going drama within the NFL.

"I personally told my reps I wouldn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year. I know it must sound like a privilege ass sacrifice but it's all i got. Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them," the Train Wreck star wrote.

  3. Her stance stunned social media. Many people quickly took to Twitter showing her love.
  4. One commenter thought the comedian missed the entire point of Kaep's protest.
  5. Others weren't here for Schumer's commentary.
  6. Amy Schumer's boycott comes hours after reports surfaced that Rihanna refused to perform during the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.
