Tiffany Haddish is undoubtedly now Hollywood's golden child, but it seems as the actress may be stepping away from her winning streak to dabble in another industry that her fans definitely won't expect.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, the Girls Trip star shared that she's pursuing a new side hustle in music.
An excerpt from the interview expounded on Haddish's plans to "create an empire" that involves a slew of ventures both within and outside of the realm of Hollywood.
"Haddish's new goal is to create an empire, though she is not sure exactly how to go about it, or if it will be in the entertainment business or what," the feature reads. "But she wants to have 40 or 50 people working for her who will be able to buy houses, put their kids through school, and pass their money down. 'The end goal,' she said, 'is to create intergenerational wealth and spread joy, and make sure everyone who works with me can spread the same thing and have it trickle down.'"
The specifics of her next move were introduced when the excerpt continued, "In the meantime, she is dabbling in music and trying to make a rap album."
There's no word yet on exactly how the actress/comedian is going to approach this, but we're curious to see how it all unfolds.
