You're In Danger, Girl: Twitter Drags Kim Kardashian For Calling Folks 'Ret****d' For Not Getting Her Halloween Costume

The reality star has some words for her critics.

It appears as Kim Kardashian is a professional at stirring the pot of controversy — intentionally or inadvertently.

Most recently, on Halloween night, the reality starlet dressed up as Pamela Anderson for her sister Kendall Jenner's party and, upon noticing that many had no idea whom she was dressed as, she uttered a word that has served as a long-standing slur for some time.

The beauty mogul, in a now-deleted Instagram Story post, called people the r-word for being unaware of the inspiration behind her outfit.

Though she quickly snagged down the posts from her Instagram account, she did leave one video up on her Twitter page showcasing a bit of the look.

  • The now-deleted Instagram Story clip lives on in the Twitterverse, with many saving and reposting it for others to see.

"Nobody knows who I am!" she can be heard yelling in the video. "Yeah, yeah. Ret****d!"

  • As expected and completely warranted, Twitter quickly became enraged that she would use such a word, knowing the history behind it and the impact it has on those with special needs.

Since receiving a slew of backlash, she reached out to TMZ where she issued an apology.

"I want to apologize for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community," she said. "I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I'm sorry."

See how social media roasted her for her comments, below:

  • Hopefully, this serves as a lesson learned for both Kim and any others who need to be educated on this matter.
