Tamera Mowry-Housley Pens Heartbreaking Open Letter To Niece Murdered In Thousand Oaks Shooting

"It's not fair how you were taken."

While the country mourned the 13 victims of the recent Thousand Oaks, California, shooting, The Real co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband, Adam, received confirmation that their niece Alaina Housley was one of the victims.

Remembering her life, the actress took to her Instagram account to share a heart-wrenching open letter addressed to Alaina.

"Alaina. My sweet, sweet Alaina," she wrote. "My heart breaks. I'm still in disbelief. It's not fair how you were taken and how soon you were taken from us. I was blessed to know you ever since you were 5. You stole my heart. I will miss our inside jokes, us serenading at the piano."

After highlighting a few personal moments they shared over the years, Tamera ended her letter sweetly expressing her love for young Alaina and lending her condolences to other families who were also directly effected by the tragic incident.

"I love you. I love you. I love you," she continued. "You are gonna make one gorgeous angel. My heart and prayers are with every victim of this tragedy."
