The season 11 premiere of the Atlanta spin-off of Bravo's highest rated franchise, The Real Housewives, stands as the first featuring the noticeable absence from former cast member Kenya Moore.
Now, after the first couple of episodes aired, it is being reported that the series was met with some underwhelming performance numbers.
According to Radar Online, the opener of the currently airing season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was "hit with a ratings disaster" as only 1.93 million viewers tuned in.
This stands as the lowest season opener since season five with the only major change that took effect since the success of season 10 being Moore's firing.
To apparently prove that she had the last laugh, on the day of the season premiere, seconds before the episode aired, Moore took to Instagram to post the first photo of her newborn daughter Brooklyn's hand.
NeNe Leakes, who remains the long-standing face of the RHOA empire, soon after, ripped into her on Instagram, posting a laughing face emoji with the caption, "I can't wit the calculations on Sunday's #thethirstisreal #weseeyou #wacks**t."
Leakes' and Moore's strained relationship only seems to have intensified with the latter's firing as, according to the site, Moore crashed the show's season finale filming and attempted to bait Leakes into an argument for screen time. The reality TV OG, however, didn't bite.
"NeNe has no time for Kenya," the insider told the site. "She thinks it is pathetic how she is so desperate to try and stay relevant. She was fired. Bye."
