Angela Simmons is currently mourning the loss of her ex-fiancé, Sutton Tennyson, who was fatally shot at his home.

Following his death, like many who have lost a loved one, the reality starlet recruited the support of her family. However, while this has proven to bring joy to her life in the wake of such a tragedy, some believed the smiles were a bit premature, and those criticisms sparked a spirited response from one particular family member.

Angela's sister, Vanessa Simmons, recently took to Instagram where she posted a family photo which included their parents, Rev. Run and Justine Simmons, their siblings and children.

While many may be pleased to notice their smiles, given the recent traumatic incident, one troll took offense, slamming them for the simple gesture.

"Didn't your child's father just passed [sic] away?" the user commented below the picture. "Why do y'all look so happy? A young boy just lost his father."

In defense of her sister and family, Vanessa clapped back.

"You guys make it so hard for me to share anything!" she responded. "So much judgement and yet you have NO clue what your talking about."

We continue to wish Angela and her family peace during this difficult time.
