Report: Tamar Braxton Refused To Return To The Stage During Performance Because Of This Ridiculous Reason

The singer is currently starring in Snoop Dogg's autobiographical production, "Redeption of a Dogg."

There is reportedly already drama brewing at Tamar Braxton's latest play gig in Snoop Dogg's autobiographical production, Redemption of a Dogg

Reports indicate that the singer allegedly refused to return to the stage for the show's second act for a reason that many may consider to be pretty ridiculous.

According to The Washington Post, Braxton said deuces to the second half of the show at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C., and it all stemmed from a backstage event that didn't go her way.

The site pointed out that fans began to notice something was wrong as the scheduled 15 minute intermission went on for much longer than anticipated, lasting for nearly an hour. As the audience was told there were "technical difficulties," most of the attendees remained. However, when the show resumed, another actress was seen playing Braxton's lead role.

While the reason for the switcheroo remained a mystery throughout the night, theJasmineBRAND.com reports that it was all due to the "Love & War" singer not receiving her food order during the break.

The site outlined that a D.C. friend of Braxton's was attempting to deliver the food to her, but security, unaware that a delivery was being made, would not allow him/her to enter the backstage area. As a result of this, the Braxton Family Values star reportedly "became hysterical" and refused to finish the show.

"This isn't my first rodeo as it pertains to live theater, but I've never, ever seen anyone quit over something like this and disappoint their fans this way," an insider told the site. "She was completely hysterical and totally out of control. She kept screaming, 'She's not here for this,' then saying, 'I'm so sick of this s**t.' Then she said, 'You can do this damn show without her,' again, addressing herself in the third person."

The source added that 10 tickets were reportedly refunded between the two shows that were scheduled to go on.

Neither Braxton nor Snoop have publicly addressed the alleged incident.
