This past weekend, Walmart was beyond excited to partner with McDonald’s, Sony, and Marvel for free advance screenings of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in Atlanta, Chicago, and Houston. DJ Drama, Paul Wall and Tarik Cohen all made the ticket giveaways in Walmart stores and the screenings themselves extra special.

In Spider-Man, you see the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one person can wear the mask and make a positive difference. For instance, for the first time Marvel has cast an African American and Puerto Rican as the superhero main character, a young boy by the name of Miles Morales. Spider-Man represents a social and cultural step forward in pop culture and we applaud Marvel for showing us that superheroes come in all sizes, shapes and colors!
