Regina Hall Is Issa Rae’s Boss From Hell In 'Little'

The writers of "Drumline" and "Girls Trip" are behind this new comedy.

The year is off to an incredible start as the trailer for the new film Little, by #BlackGirlMagic trio Issa Rae, Marsai Martin and Reigna Hallhas finally been released.

The clip, which is guaranteed to brighten your day, follows a body-swap theme where a spell is cast upon Hall's character, Jordan Sanders, an overbearing boss, causing her to revert to her 13-year-old self, played by Black-ish star Martin.

Sanders' employee, April (Rae), is visibly miserable throughout the clip as her boss is clearly too much to handle. She, thus, must pretend to be Sanders' guardian until they figure out how to successfully get her body to return to its natural state.

The trailer focuses primarily on Martin and Rae's relationship as they learn more about one another through this unfortunate event.

Take a look at the hilarious trailer, below:

Martin, 14, not only cultivated the script idea herself, but she also serves as executive producer of the film, in addition to Hall and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris.

Tracy Oliver, known for most recently writing Girls Trip, co-wrote the script with Tina Gordon, who also directed the film. Gordon's past work includes Drumline, Peeples and the upcoming Taraji P. Henson-led What Women Want reboot, What Men Want.

Little premieres in theaters on April 12.
