Young Dro Hopes Donald Trump Wins the Election

Published July 6, 2016

Young Dro has confidently come forward with an endorsement of the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

While the 37-year-old Atlanta-based rapper hasn’t expressed much of an interest in politics in the past, a recent interview with DJ Smallz brought out that side of him.

Dro shared candidly that not only does he enjoy politics, but he’s overall been pleased with how this election has been going.

"I'm into politics,” Dro said during the interview. “I feel good about politics and the way it's going down. I hope Donald Trump do win.”

As the interview continues, other topics were addressed, such as President Obama’s legacy and what Dro would do if he were charge.

As the conversation continued, the rapper was adamant about his support for Trump, also saying he’s in support of “ending racism” and people “being treated equally.” That commentary in and of itself has us questioning just how much he’s been paying attention to the Trump campaign this year, as the candidate he’s supporting ironically often is criticized for his stances being against racial equality in the first place.
