OG Maco Suffered Multiple Skull Fractures After a Freak Car Accident

He says he feels "ALIVE."

Published July 26, 2016

OG Maco is known for his outlandish behavior whether it be in his music or performances on stage.

He seems pretty alive when he’s in the hospital too. According to the Atlanta rapper he got in a car accident over the weekend and sustained some pretty serious but not life-threatening injuries. He took to Twitter to let everyone know some of what happened.

“Multiple skull fractures, broken orbital (surgery next week), cracked vertebrae (surgery next week) and heart palpations. I feel ALIVE!!!,” he tweeted very early Saturday morning (July 23). “On the bright side, my plastic surgeon says I can’t get any uglier so fixing my face should be easy,” he joked in a follow-up tweet.

Maco also tweeted a picture of himself in the hospital smiling while flipping off the camera accompanied by the hashtag #PrayForMaco. He looks beaten up, but seems to be in good spirits. He took some inspiration from Kanye West as well, relaying his famous “thank God I ain’t too cool for that safe belt” line through the social media site.

We wish OG Maco a speedy recovery and hopefully his injuries don’t have any negative long term effects on him. Check out his series of tweets about what went down below.
