Weezy inspires all.

Hillary Clinton is looking to energize the younger demographic to vote for her in the general election. It’s a group she had an issue appealing to during the Democratic Primaries.

Well, now that she’s officially the party’s nominee it’s time to court those voters. She began last night with her speech to close out the 2016 Democratic National Convention. During her address she referenced Lil Wayne's lyrics verbatim, who on “Sky Is the Limit” said, “When there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit.”

The line and the song are from Da Drought 3, one of Weezy’s most acclaimed mixtapes. TMZ caught up with Lil Wayne right after the speech happened. He confirmed that he did hear about the line drop and says he “f**ks with Hillary.” He also revealed that he’s never met the former Secretary of State, but maybe her supposed newfound likeness of him will kindle a meeting in the White House someday (assuming she wins the presidency).

It isn’t confirmed whether Hillary Clinton was actually quoting Weezy but the line is word for word. The audience seemed to applaud more for it than most of what she had to say, so it’s likely they picked up on it and confirmed it themselves.
