It’s been four months since Prince tragically passed away, and while there have been many artists who have honored the music legend in their own way, an “official” tribute put on by those who know him best hasn’t quite happened.

That’s about to change. The family of Prince just announced that they’re putting on their own tribute and it’s slated for the Fall. According to the Associated Press, the concert is slated to go down at U.S. Bank Stadium in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis. The acts performing will be announced in the coming months.

“We are excited for the opportunity to bring everyone together for the official family celebration of Prince’s life, music and legacy, and there is no better place to do it than his hometown of Minneapolis,” a statement from the family reads. “We are honored by the artists who will pay tribute and grateful to those that have worked so hard to make this celebration possible.”

The Purple One’s brothers and sisters are primarily the ones putting on the show. They say the support surrounding his death and legacy “have been moved by the tremendous love and support of Prince’s friends and fans around the world.”

Prince worked with a lot of different acts over the numerous decades he was in music, so it’s anybody’s guess as to who the family will choose to represent his legacy.

Prince passed away on April 21 at his home in Paisley Park in Minnesota. He was hospitalized on April 15 after his private plane made an emergency landing in Illinois. He was 57 years old.
