Did The Weeknd Just Step Up for #BlackLivesMatter in a Major Way?

He's making boss moves in silence.

Published August 10, 2016

The Weeknd has been showcasing his generosity in a very major way this past week.

After donating $50,000 to the University of Toronto in order to help fund and support an Ethiopic studies program, he decided to keep the donations flowing with another selfless and monumental gesture.

As reported, the singer has donated $250,000 to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

While the details of the huge donation have yet to surface, it was reported that a “source close to the situation” shared that The Weeknd’s donation to the university was not his only recent charitable act and disclosed information about the contribution to BLM.

After all, real bosses make moves in silence.
