Justin Bieber Deactivated His Instagram, and the Internet Had a Party

They'll never let him live.

Just a day after threatening his following to make his Instagram account private, Justin Bieber did one better and deactivated it.

The root of his anger came from a lot of his fans (or “beliebers”) heckling his rumored girlfriend, Sofia Richie. "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand,” he captioned next to a picture of them together on the social media site. “If you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."

Now, as usual, the internets are acting up. The hashtag #JustinDeactivatedParty surfaced and people are having their way with the young pop star. “Justin is really forgetting who pays his bills, watch me download his next album illegally,” a Twitter user relayed. “#JustinDeactivatedParty.”

The whole saga really began when Selena Gomez left some unsolicited advice for her former bae. “If you can't handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol,” she commented on a pic of the rumored new couple. “It should be special between you two only.”

Maybe she’s a bit jelly? Is the Biebs going over the top? Check out the internet’s reaction to Justin Bieber deactivating his Instagram account below.
