LAPD: No Guns Were Found in Chris Brown's Home

Someone has some explaining to do.

It was previously reported that drugs and guns were confiscated from Chris Brown’s home after police obtained a search warrant. Now, we know that isn’t true.

The Los Angeles Times now says police discovered no weapons after a long standoff with the singer. Brown was arrested on Tuesday (August 30) after being accused of assault with a deadly weapon. Baylee Curran, an aspiring model and actress, said Breezy pointed a gun at her when she tried to examine a piece of jewelry.

From the jump her story seemed suspicious as Curran herself had a warrant out for her arrest in New York. That incident seemed eerily similar to what went down at CB’s residency. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, believes his most recent assault case is closed.

“It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false but fabricated,” Geragos said, noting the piece of jewelry Curran describes in her report was also not found.

Chris Brown was released on a $250,000 bail late Tuesday evening after posting bond. He has an arraignment scheduled for September 20 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. Brown addressed rumors of the assault on Instagram and denied any wrongdoing. At the time, Geragos called the charges “demonstrably false.”
