Drake Goes Back to High School (Not Degrassi, Though)

He's done this before.

Drake’s sports fandom doesn’t end at the college and professional levels. He’s known to show up in the locker rooms of any sport at any time.

That’s why he made an appearance at a California high school volleyball game yesterday (September 8). Students understandably freaked out once they saw the Toronto rapper and posted a lot of pics and videos to Twitter and Instagram. He was seen walking across the sideline and at a concession stand, among other places.

Drizzy is currently on the West Coast leg of this Summer Sixteen tour. He’s spending three days in Los Angeles before traveling to Las Vegas and Oakland.

Drake mentions in the liner notes of his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late album his admiration for volleyball. “This tape is for… everybody that reaches volleyball,” he writes. “Everybody that ever reached skating and paradise.” Volleyball is also the subject of his "Best I Ever Had" video.

Check out some of what attendees captured of Drake’s high school appearance below.
