Lupe Fiasco Has Some Thoughts to Share Today, Too

Move over, Kid Cudi.

Kid Cudi began his day today (September 14) by unapologetically offering his thoughts on Twitter that artists such as Drake and Kanye West “don’t give a f**k” about him.

The Cleveland recording artist has selectively spoken out on social media in the past, but today decided to really go all the way in on the “fake” relationships all too common in the music industry.

Lupe Fiasco also decided he had some things on his chest on the topic at hand, offering what could either be interpreted as a blow at Kudi or a blanket statement about the music industry in general.

Fiasco took to Twitter (after Cudi's rant) to share that he, too, feels some kind of way, offering that by him speaking up, he’s “just doing [his] public service.”

“Told y’all about these funny style a** n****z…constantly biting that hands that feed them…” he began, adding an eye-roll emoji. “Trust if I point a n**** for being foul or having a s****y moral and/or ethical compass it’s worth it’s weight in ramen in prison! Hahah.”

Fiasco then went on to say that people should reevaluate who it is they look up to, sharing his opinionated reminder as a “public service.”

“Stop letting these lames become the role models in yo life just cuz they famous,” he concluded.

While the last tweet was a response to a fan saying, “Don’t let that fool ruffle your feathers…forget that fool,” it’s debatable whether Fiasco has an issue with Kid Cudi specifically and threw a little shade or if he was just offering his two cents.

Check out Lupe Fiasco’s airing of grievances in the post below.
