Gucci Mane Is Off of House Arrest

#Woptober is almost here.

Published September 20, 2016

Gucci Mane has plenty of reasons to smile today (September 20) with the biggest reason to celebrate being the fact that the rapper is now a free man.

As announced, by way of an Instagram video, Guwop was legally able to cut off his ankle monitor now that he has served his house arrest sentencing in full.

While cutting off the ankle monitor with a pair of scissors, the rapper welcomed this new chapter saying, “Woptober on the way, baby. 10/17.”

In addition to Guwop posting the celebratory moment on his social media, his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, also shared her excitement, saying, “It’s over with!”

With Gucci officially a free man, it’s a safe bet to say that he’s got much more planned than just his new albumWoptober, which is slated for a 10/17 release, and his forthcoming project with Drake. While 2017 is about to be Gucci's year, we're excited to see how he fills the next three months.

Check out the clip of Gucci Mane toasting his newfound freedom below.
