R&B singer Fantasia recently organized an “All Lives Matter” concert, much to the disappointment of many of her fans.

The concert, which was supposed to take place yesterday (September 25) in Charlotte, was reportedly canceled due to logistical reasons, but her fans heavily weighing in on the matter could have also been a factor.

Taking to Facebook Live to announce that the concert wouldn’t be happening, Fantasia and her husband shared more details about why she was working on organizing such a gathering, which is now being pushed back to next week. Anthony Hamilton and a few others were also originally scheduled to perform alongside Fantasia.

While her intentions may have been in the right place with the singer hoping to unite people through music, once word got out that the event was in conjunction with the “All Lives Matter” stance, her fans really let her have it on Twitter.

Take a look at Fantasia explaining her event in the video below, as well as some reactions from fans on Twitter.
