J. Cole Says We Won't See Him On A Stage For A 'Very Long Time'

He's taking a break.

Published October 2, 2016

J. Cole delivered on of his most stirring performances in recent memory at The Meadows festival in New York's Citi Field, inspiring the crowd with messages of self-confidence and hope.

Then, he dropped the bomb that it would be his "last show for a very long time."

He wasn't specific as to the reason behind his hiatus, but needless to say, fans are dismayed:

Commenters are speculating that anything from a new baby or a new album is the reason for his unexpected hiatus. Regardless of why he decided to take a break, hopefully his definition of "a very long time" is not as long as he's making it sound.
