Back in August, what began as business as usual for Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa turned into a headache that doesn't look like it's going away any time soon.
During a live performance in New Jersey, a railing at the venue collapsed, injuring dozens of people. While lawsuits from 17 people have already popped up, the most recent comes from a 16-year-old cheerleader who is blaming the rappers for injuries that consequently ruined her athletic career.
According to the report, the lawsuit is being filed by the teenager's grandmother, who claims that the rappers, as well as Live Nation, are responsible. Prior to the chaotic incident, the rappers yelled, "Everybody in the motherf**king grass get your a** down here," causing the crowd to rush the stage, therefore resulting in the railing collapsing.
In addition to being upset with Snoop and Wiz, the grandmother is pointing fingers at Live Nation, saying that the company could have provided better crowd control.
According to the docs, the concerned grandmother says that her granddaughter fell 10 feet onto concrete, was trapped and pinned down by the crowd and knocked out, coming to consciousness while covered in blood. She also suffered a broken arm and wrist, causing her to give up cheerleading. The document also states that the young woman is experiencing nightmares and was absolutely traumatized by the unfortunate event.
