Meek Mill Takes Credit for the State Property BET Cypher

Of course he is...

Philly was repping hard during this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. If you checked out any of the cyphers, chances are you saw someone from the City of Brotherly Love spitting some bars.

Perhaps the most notable Philly cypher was the one that included State Property members Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Omillio Sparks, Peedi Crack and Neef Buck. Apparently, the whole thing was set up by Meek Mill — or at least that’s what he’s claiming.

“BY THE WAY...... I'm the one who pitched a philly cypher and getting philly more involved with @bet,” he captioned in a pic he posted to Instagram yesterday (October 5). “Alley ooping a n***a that's throwing shade but still catching blessings!”

The “throwing shade” part obviously is in reference to Beanie Sigel, who Meek is now beefing with after he previously joined forces with Sigel in his rap bout with Game.

The Meek/Beanie beef has escalated since its beginnings. At the end of last month, Beanie Sigel was reportedly assaulted by a member of Meek Mill’s crew. On Tuesday, the State Prop. frontman shared a preview of his forthcoming Meek Mill diss track. From the sounds of it, this beef isn’t ending anytime soon.
