One Good Thing Has Happened for Kanye West Since Kim Kardashian's Robbery

It's one reason to celebrate.

There hasn’t been much positive going on in the lives of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian since Kim’s recent robbery incident left her physically unharmed but emotionally scarred.

We’re here to report though that Kanye has reached a new musical milestone, which should be something the couple can celebrate. The Chicago superproducer/rapper’s seventh studio album The Life of Pablo just hit the platinum mark this week.

What’s most impressive about the new feat is that no physical copies of the LP were ever pressed up. It debuted on Tidal, receiving a reported 250 million streams in the 10 days after its release. Against Yeezy’s promises, Pablo did expand to other streaming services shortly afterward.

Kanye did say in March that physical CD copies would be released soon. That development never materialized. Aside from musical content, what most people can remember from TLOP was Ye’s constant tweaking of it even after the album was released.

Roc Nation’s Dame Doller recently took to Instagram to reveal the platinum plaque the album garnished after passing the 1 million sales mark. Check it out below. Congrats Kanye!
