Guess What Lil Yachty's Favorite Rap Song Is (Go Ahead, Guess)

Published October 27, 2016

Lil Yachty is a 19-year-old rapper whose music is an acquired taste for some, a perfect target for haters and a talented, forward-thinking artist for others.

While his fans tend to skew into a younger demographic, his knowledge of hip-hop artists from the generation that came before him often has often come into the picture, with many criticizing his lack of interest and respect for older artists.

While Lil Yachty may not make the type of music everyone is here for, he's revealed in a recent conversation with ThisIs50 that he's ride or die for a legendary rapper, and doesn't completely dismiss the rappers that helped pave the way for his career. And no, it's obviously not Tupac or Biggie, but instead he went with an even more interesting choice.

As shared in a new interview, Lil Yachty's favorite song is by none other than 50 Cent. (Pause for reaction).

“My favorite song is ‘Heat,’ 50 Cent,” he says, without hesitation. “And I love the video game, Bulletproof. ‘Heat’ is an underrated song. That song’s fire.”

Interesting that out of all the artists to flock to, he's got mad love for Fif.

Take a listen to Lil Yachty praising 50 Cent in the interview below.
