This Lil Wayne and Birdman Halloween Costume Is Actually the Saddest Thing Ever

It's also the anniversary of "Like Father, Like Son."

Many participants in this year's Halloween tradition of getting creative in the costume department found inspiration in several likely places, such as Beyoncé or Rihanna

While it's always interesting to see how well people pull off going as celebrities for Halloween, including celebrities going as other celebrities, one costume in particular hit us in the feels.

Behind this father, Dan Harbin, and his son, Sullivan's decision to dress up as the infamous pairing of Lil Wayne and Birdman is the grim reality that things just aren't how they used to be.

Considering the Cash Money affiliates have been beefing with one another for well over a year now, this creative costume has trigged all sorts of emotions, namely because Birdman and Lil Wayne appear to remain light years away from reconciling.

It really is quite sad that so much has changed between the two, with today (October 31) ironically marking the 10-year anniversary of their collaborative project, Like Father, Like Son.

Check out this father and son's heart-wrenching (and yet still adorable) costume paying homage to Birdman and Lil Wayne in the photo, captured by proud mom Brandy Tennille, below.
