As Lil Wayne continues to infuriate Black Twitter with his recent Nightline comments dismissing the Black Lives Matter movement, another group has come forward to voice their support of the rapper and his claims: Trump supporters.
During the train wreck of an interview, Weezy was asked about Black Lives Matter and, simply put, had no idea how to even approach articulating a response, let alone an intelligible response. Needless to say, his commentary ignited strong reactions across the board, with just as many tearing into the rapper as there are people supporting him despite his selective ignorance.
Naturally, Trump supporters had a field day with his interview as a result, taking the opportunity to shout their battle cries of "All Lives Matter" or what have you.
As one Twitter user put it best, "Trump supporters think Lil Wayne is [their] beacon of hope or something and I'm highkey dying of laughter."
