Here's Where Lil Wayne Ended Up After the Election...

Maybe it's best he stays there for awhile.

After Lil Wayne got himself into all sorts of hot water denouncing the Black Lives Matter movement in a viral interview with Nightline, many fans were anxious he'd get himself into a similar cringeworthy situation when commenting on the results of the 2016 presidential election.

Instead, the rapper did what he does best: spend some time in the studio and work on music.

As shared on Instagram, Lil Wayne spent his Election Day in a session with producer Scott Storch

"Election is over and storch is here to make hits," the producer captioned the flick of him and Weezy.

Considering Wayne's ongoing feud with Birdman, it is great to see the rapper channeling his energy into cooking up some new hits and staying out of trouble in the media.
