John Legend joins the ranks of those vocalizing their concern and support for Kanye West.

In the wake of the news of West being hospitalized, the R&B singer has said that he is concerned for the well-being of his friend and frequent collaborator.

"We were with Kim [Kardashian] actually, you know, right before all of that,” the 37-year-old said in an interview with CBS. "I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out."

During the conversation, Legend didn't elaborate further regarding why he was concerned about West or what specific behavior he had witnessed. However given his relationship with 'Ye, it's likely he saw firsthand how West's work ethic, day-to-day stresses and demanding schedule could have led to his suffering a breakdown.

At the time of this report, the latest update is that West is still hospitalized but is "doing much better."

We're keeping our prayers up in the meantime.
